If I Purchase a Stock Photo Will I Own it Outright? A quality stock photograph has a long useful life as it can be sold many times. Therefore, since stock photos represent the future of a photographer's business, those images will not be sold outright. When you purchase a photo from a stock archive, you are actually purchasing a "license" which grants you the right to use the photo for a certain project and/or period of time. |
